The Divine Comedy

Have you ever noticed some random insane, mentally-ill people literally LOL-ing on the corner of the street? I want to postulate this random theory. First and foremost, they're not laughing for no reason at all. 

I think they have just lost a game, a comedic one with life. They've underestimated how funny life, or - if you prefer - God can be. I'm not sure whether God does exist or not, but one thing to be sure if he does. I'm not sure if he is omniscience, omnipotent, omni-whatever but I'm sure he's a great comedian. Those crazy people, they might have underestimated God's sense of humor. It's more cruel, noir, and unexpected that you could've ever imagined. He's a great mastermind behind world's sickest jokes. 

Some people just can't stop themselves from laughing, they're bursting into tears. God is just simply too funny. He is the funniest dude in history. I think that's why Atkinson (Mr. Bean), another great comedian claimed that you can ridicule religions, Gods. You know he's his biggest competitor after all. Atkinson might have been just jealous of God. He's nowhere close to God's feat in creating jokes. Mr. Bean might be known for being able to make people laugh without uttering a single word, God doesn't even need to show his face. He just pulled some strings, and oh boy that's sick, dude!

One thing I noticed from God's line of thinking when creating a joke. It's a classic one, roller-coaster joke. You put someone up high, say something to yourself: "Wow, what a nice plan, what a nice life. It would be a shame if something happens to it" and voila! He pulled the biggest joke in your life, throw you off the cliff, kill someone you love. George G.G. Martin doesn't even have the half of God's "courage" in doing these things. If you think yellow humors, noir humors are progressive jokes, God thinks bigger. Let's make a joke out of your life, but joke wouldn't be enough, you know, we need something more spectacular. What about a prank, a fucking actual prank? It would be nice! Wait a minute let's pump those adrenaline even more. Aha, last minute prank! Make everything seems perfect till the very last millisecond, than *boom* destroy it! 

Some people can't stop laughing on the joke and become -as the society called it- "crazy people". Some just can't help it but admiring God's incredible work and mastery of comedy. They decided to go meet the great comedy artists ASAP, probably asking for an autograph. 

So, we're in this game just like everybody else. Don't lose to God, don't laugh just yet, don't try to meet him yet. You can hold that laugh, wait till the end, till your time is up and you meet him. Face him proudly and laugh for the great battle you've fought. "Laugh at last, laugh at last my friend!"
